When I was growing up, there was nothing I wanted more than a treehouse. I had this little play house in my yard that my best friends and I called the “clubhouse” but I still always wanted a treehouse. We were imaginative and adventurous kids that built forts and bunkbed houses, but the thought of climbing up to a little house in a tree, was something else.
Maybe it was my obsession with my Weebles Wobble Clubhouse I had in the 70s.
Or my Kenner Tree Tots Treehouse I got when I was a little older.
Or my love for The Swiss Family Robinson treehouse that they built after being shipwrecked on an island.
