Macaulay Culkin showed up in New York City with his rarely seen little brother, Rory Culkin, in a moment that immediately generated headlines. A video posted to social media captured Macaulay’s enthusiastic interaction as he was blowing kisses, patting Rory on the head affectionately, and even signing “NYC, I love you” in American Sign Language.
While Macaulay was engaging with the audience, Rory remained on his seat with a serious, poker face, a direct contrast to his brother’s enthusiasm. During the introductions, commentator Pat McAfee highlighted Macaulay’s fame and his iconic character, Kevin McCallister, in the movie Home Alone.

While Macaulay was introduced, Rory’s presence was ignored, and his fans were not happy about it. A lot of them took their grievances to social media, pointing out that Rory was a very talented actor worthy of recognition.
“Thank you for giving Rory love. @WWE couldn’t be bothered to mention him. Very talented dude,” one fan wrote. Another added, “No one gunna mention Euronymous Culkin being there too?” referencing Rory’s role as Euronymous in the 2018 film Lords of Chaos. “He’s there with Euronymous, and you’re not gonna acknowledge Euronymous?” another person questioned.
Macaulay, Rory, and their siblings share a close bond
The Culkin siblings have always been very close. The seven of them have witnessed public ups and downs, yet the closeness between them is undeniable. Rory has built a reputable professional acting career with roles in movies like Scream 4, Signs, and Lords of Chaos. At the same time, Kieran became famous for his role as Roman Roy in the TV series Succession.
The most recognized of the Culkin brothers is Macaulay, who, despite his fame, stood by his brothers consistently. Kieran and Rory were among those who were present at Macaulay’s Hollywood Walk of Fame induction ceremony in December 2023, where Kieran teared up while giving a speech about how his older brother had shaped his life.
