Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne has announced his retirement, but before stepping away from the stage, he is giving fans one last show as Black Sabbath reunites for Back To The Beginning. The farewell concert is scheduled for July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham.
It will be the first time in 20 years that Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward will share a stage. The all-day event is packed with rock and metal royalty, featuring Metallica, Slayer, Gojira, Alice in Chains, and Lamb of God. However, as tickets went on sale, excitement quickly turned to frustration when fans saw the staggering prices.

The moment tickets became available on February 11, fans flooded Ticketmaster, only to be met with long virtual queues and outrageous prices. One fan was taken aback when they saw standard seated tickets listed at nearly £500. Others pointed out that even “nosebleed” seats far from the main stage were selling for over £400.
For the most premium experience, which includes a Gold Circle ticket and a side-stage viewing opportunity, some were asked to pay close to £3,000. The outrage quickly spilled onto social media, with some questioning why these extreme costs for a rock show are overlooked.

Despite the complaints, demand for the show was through the roof. The rush began when Ozzy Osbourne posted a link to the presale the night before, leading to an overwhelming surge of fans trying to buy tickets the following day. Those who logged in right at 10 a.m. found themselves tens of thousands deep in the queue.
Some fans were already 20,000th in line, while others who joined later found themselves behind at nearly 40,000th. Within 40 minutes, every available presale ticket had been snapped up, with prices starting at nearly £200.
