Martha Stewart is proving once again that age is just a number. At 83 years old, the businesswoman, TV personality, and lifestyle guru has stirred the internet with her latest Martha Stewart thirst trap in a new ad for MAC Cosmetics that has left fans with mixed reactions.
In the advertisement, part of MAC’s I Only Wear MAC promotion, Martha Stewart confidently poses in a silky peach-colored robe, biting into a strawberry and licking honey off a stick. The video quickly went viral, and fans reacted to it, some praising the confidence of the 83-year-old while others argued about doing such at her age.
Martha Stewart’s latest thirst trap

Martha Stewart leans in close to the camera, her voice low and charming, as she describes the fruit as “juicy” and “delicious.” Then she teases before praising the joy of freshly picked fruit in the heat of the sun. “What gets me in the nude?”
The ad also plays into the ASMR trend, with Stewart sharpening a MAC lip liner close to a microphone and whispering seductively, “I’m Martha Stewart, and I only wear MAC.” She hums as the honey lands in her mouth, muttering, “Makes a mess,” in the most compelling voice, and a winking emoji follows on the screen.
Fans divided reaction over bold ad
However, as much as Martha Stewart enjoyed making the video, some of her fans did not enjoy seeing it. The reactions online are mixed, with some expressing their love and support for her while others criticized the video. Some saw it as an inspiration and something to also try out at that age, while a user called the video illegal. One user wrote, “I just got jump scared by Martha Stewart,” proving that even a Martha Stewart thirst trap is not for everyone.
Despite the mixed reactions, Stewart herself seems to be embracing her new title as a thirst trap. In a recent interview, she acknowledged enjoying the attention and having no plans to stop any time soon. For fans who loved the Martha Stewart thirst trap, the good news is that her MAC lipstick and lip liner are already available on the brand’s website and sold for $25.
