‘Price Is Right’ Announcer Falls Off Treadmill But Plays It Off Impressively

A viral clip from The Price Is Right shows announcer George Gray flying off a treadmill while trying to showcase the prizes up for grabs. Host Drew Carey stepped aside for George to show the lined-up motorcycle, stove, and treadmill to viewers minutes before the mishap occurred.

George tried to show off on the treadmill by walking on it backward, and all was fine until he attempted to step down from it. He lost his rhythm while trying to reach for support, only to fall on his back as the moving belt slid him off the equipment.

Thankfully, George did not make a fuss about his fall, and he sprang up in a beat to get back to work. He continued describing the prizes as if nothing had happened, highlighting the Honda motorcycle and the stove with a double oven, which models accompanied.

He joked that the compact treadmill did not come with aspirin and got on it one more time to close out his segment. George’s conduct was proof of professionalism and longevity as the show’s announcer since Rich Fields left in 2011.
