A police officer and former coast guard from Connecticut, Will Jordan, got Wheel of Fortune viewers laughing with his hilarious answer to a simple puzzle. Will admitted to the game show’s social media correspondent Maggie Sajak that he suddenly went blank upon hearing the question.
He confidently tried to solve the puzzle once host Ryan Seacrest displayed it on the screen, but rather than say, “Give yourself a round of applause,” Will blurted, “Treat yourself to a round of sausage,” to Ryan’s disappointment.

Will said he was nervous due to the lights, the stars, and everything going on on stage, including Ryan and Vanna White’s presence. On a lighter note, Will said his flop would be worth it if he made some viewers laugh, adding that he may be returning to a lot of sausages in his locker and police car when he returns to work.
His video interview made it to Wheel Of Fortune’s official Instagram page with the caption, “Playing Wheel of Fortune on stage is a whole different ball game than playing at home, but Will was a great sport about his missolve!”
