Jamie Lee Curtis is embracing her new age and the changes that come with it, including wrinkles and all. The scream queen celebrated turning 66 with a makeup-free selfie posted to her Instagram. She even acknowledged Pamela Anderson in her post for pioneering the no-makeup trend.
Jamie wore a white turtleneck sweater, noting that she just got out of the shower and was feeling sober, strong, and steady on. Her short silver hair matched her outfit nicely, and she accessorized with tiny stud earrings. “Let’s F&@KING GO 66!” she exclaimed.

Jamie’s post caught her followers’ attention, and they flooded with comments with birthday wishes and compliments. “Beautiful inside and out as always! Enjoy your special day Jamie!” someone wrote, while another said she looked gorgeous without makeup. “You actually started this phase of clear faces, minds & hearts,” they said.
The 66-year-old noted in her caption that she is aware of the mascara smudges on her eyelids, which were left over from work the previous day. “Clearly, mommy didn’t wash her face very well,” she noted. “Yes, you’re beautiful, but you’re a stellar role model for so many other reasons,” a third person wrote.
Jamie Lee Curtis discusses aging in Hollywood
Aging has been good to Jamie, who admits her mid-60s have been a period of heightened creativity and more achievements for her. Earlier this year, she discussed the excitement that came with turning 65, noting that she has grown to accept herself.
The mother of two said she now lives in the present because the far future for someone her age means she is dead; hence she is more invested in the moment. She has no plans to retire soon and is still actively making hits such as her recent release The Last Showgirl, where she plays former showgirl Annette alongside Pamela.
