Regardless of the challenges, Judy’s delivery of Dorothy goes down in history as one of the most legendary performances in cinematic history. She went on to star in other productions, especially musicals, and was renowned for her charming voice.

The scene causing a buzz among fans showed Judy’s plaits go from shoulder-length to touching her tummy in seconds, showing a continuity issue. “I thought the hair length was different because it took so long to make the movie,” someone joked.
A continuity manager noted that their job was not available back in the day, and set-script supervisors were responsible for keeping track of such errors. “I have watched that movie. I do not know how many times, but I never noticed that,” another exclaimed. Wicked is now in cinemas, with lead actresses Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande doing viral press tours marked by emotional displays as they discuss their roles.
