Kristin Minter is most popular for playing Heather in the ‘90s holiday classic Home Alone, after which she had a successful run as Miranda ‘Randi’ Fronczak in ER. She shocked fans weeks ago with her catwalk debut at the New York Fashion Week, where she strutted for designer Dennis Basso.
Kristin took to Instagram to show off her runway-worthy looks at 58 while thanking designer Basso for the opportunity. “Walking NYFW after 40 years, but I didn’t fall! Small victories!” her caption read. Kristin’s followers commented kindly on her beauty as they cheered her on.
Where is Kristin Minter now?
Kristin’s Fashion Week catwalk comes after she announced that Elite Model Management signed her. She had a memorable runway debut as she strutted in cream trousers and a beige and white jumper, which she matched with drop earrings and smokey eye makeup.
Kristin is proof that age is just a number, as her modeling career begins in her late fifties. Fans were inspired by this as they gushed in her Instagram comments section. “So proud of you. You look FABULOUS,” someone exclaimed. “Congratulations Kristin, you definitely deserve it!” another added.
Kristin Minter reveals a shocking fun fact
Kristin admitted in a past interview that she avoids watching her films because she hates her voice, and seeing herself on screen makes her nauseous. She admitted to walking out of the theater during Home Alone’s first screening, noting that she burst into tears and never watched it again.
Thankfully, Kristin seems to be embracing confidence now in her new career path as an older model. Some of her supporters have mentioned that they are not surprised at her success now, as she always showed signs of being high-fashion while playing Randi in ER. “We all have to reinvent ourselves as we move through life. You’ve succeeded very well!” someone applauded.
