The 58th Annual Country Music Association Awards, a.k.a the CMA Awards, took place on Wednesday at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. It was a star-studded event featuring the biggest country music stars, many of whom were CMA award winners by the end of the night.
Luke Bryan, Peyton Manning, and Lainey Wilson hosted the ceremony, which aired live on ABC with the replay on Hulu. The event also featured stunning red carpet-appearances, impressive performances, heartfelt speeches, and presentations from non-country stars.
Who were the CMA Awards 2024 winners?
CMA award winners include Morgan Wallen for the Entertainer of the Year category, Lainey Wilson for Female Vocalist of the Year, and Charles Stapleton for the Male. Old Dominion was named Vocal Group of the Year, while Brooks & Dunn won Vocal Duo. The award for Single of the Year went to “White Horse” by Chris Stapleton, with Cody Johnson’s Leather earning him the award for Best Album.
The event also recognized country newbies like Shaboozey, Nate Smith, and Megan Moroney, who won New Artist of the Year, among others. The oldies were not left out either, as George Strait got his well-deserved Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. During his acceptance speech, Strait thanked his family and industry colleagues.

Star appearances at the CMA Awards 2024
The CMA awards featured performances from the likes of Kelsea Ballerini, Jelly Roll, Luke Combs, Brooks & Dunn, Kacey Musgraves, Eric Church, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Ella Langley, Noah Kahan and many more. Newbie of the Year nominee Shaboozey also did a rendition of his hit song, “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”
