It has been a year since Matthew Perry died from ketamine overdose in his Los Angeles home, which was immediately put on the housing market. Real estate developer Anita Verma-Lallian recently acquired the home and confirmed their purchase in new social media photos.
The 42-year-old took photos of her new purchase on Instagram, including a view of the Pacific Ocean and a special detail left behind by Perry. “The moment I walked into the home, I absolutely fell in love with the features… We knew it was ‘the one’ and decided to write an offer on it immediately,” Anita revealed.

Fans noticed a few heartbreaking shots from Anita’s post, including the infinity pool where Perry was reportedly found. There was also a Batman logo shining from beneath the pool, representing Perry’s favorite DC superhero and his alter ego, Mattman.
Anita’s followers were pleased to learn that she was keeping the logo as a tribute to Perry, who shared several posts about the action figure days before his demise. “We chose to honor the positive aspects of the previous owner’s life, his immense talent, and all the joy he brought to so many people,” Anita further announced.

Perry’s supporters were happy for the new homeowner as they thanked her for preserving something that meant so much to Perry. “Congratulations! I think Mathew would be very happy to know his Batman logo will be staying,” one wrote, while another offered to assist with Anita’s interior decoration needs.
Anita promised to keep other unspecified design elements and clarified that the home would be a vacation paradise for herself and her partner Sat. As a Hindu, she also performed the tradition of blessing a new home by inviting their Panditji from Arizona for prayers.
