Susanna Hoffs strolled the streets of Los Angeles as she went out shopping while sporting a dressed-down casual look. The ‘80s pop star wore a pink cardigan over a gray shirt and black joggers, which she paired with a pair of slip-on trainers and a white bag.
The 65-year-old now looks unrecognizable from her days of peak fame, as she stepped out makeup free. Hoffs looked cheerful and pleased as the cameras flashed, while she made for the parking lot with her supermarket trolley before her.

Hoffs was a member of the ‘80s all-female band, The Bangles, who were popular for their distinct style featuring big hair and rocker-girl fashion. She founded the group in 1981 with sisters Vicki Peterson and Debbi Peterson with bassist Annette Zilinskas joining them.
The group hit a rough patch in the late ‘80s as Hoffs was getting singular attention for group effort in the media. They broke up in 1989, with Hoffs pursuing a solo career until their reunion ten years later. Now Vocal Group Hall of Fame inductees, the ladies have a track record of hit songs and impressive collaborations with industry icons.
Life beyond The Bangles
Hoffs’ solo debut album, When You’re A Boy, was a flop, peaking at 83 on the US charts and receiving backlash from critics. This did not stop Hoffs as she released her second Susanna Hoffs, which performed better and was followed by three more projects.
Hoffs also dabbled in writing with her first novel, This Bird Has Flown, for which she sold the rights to Universal Pictures. The mother of two is still married to her first and only husband, Jay Roach, the award-winning filmmaker behind the Austin Powers series.
