The 77-year-old was candid about the extent of his eye infection; however, he assured his followers of a quicker recovery. His supporters encouraged him to get some rest, reminding him of his already established musical legacy built across generations. “Take good care of yourself! This time is for you, healing and enjoying your incredible husband and family!” a fan said. ” You deserve lots of rest and happiness!”
Elton was forced to retire from touring in 2023, with his show in Stockholm, Sweden for his farewell tour being his last. The rocket man decided to get off the road and focus on his children, Zachary and Elijah, whom he shares with David Furnish. He also noted that he was open to making music with any of them, including Gracie Abrams and Charlie XCX.
