Nicole Eggert joined the crew behind the upcoming Hulu docuseries After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun as a producer, and after five years of work, the project is finally debuting this August. It gives fans a peek into the making of Baywatch and how it affected each cast member on a personal level.
Although she was mostly behind the camera, Nicole also shared her experience as a 19-year-old on the show who had to deal with fame and people criticizing her looks and every move. She also discussed her transition from the hot swimsuit-wearing lady to a mom in her fifties fighting cancer.
‘Just two suits and a robe’
Nicole recalled having a limited wardrobe on set, which simply consisted of two swimsuits— one to wade in and the other for when you are dry. There was also a robe to change with and nothing else. The 52-year-old admitted to having nothing in her wardrobe save for the clothing; however, she kept some big jackets and a singed-by-all script to herself from the set.

Nicole was not so keen on her character as a high diver at the time and required a lot of convincing to compromise on her fear of heights. She did enjoy the swimming, the beach underwater sets, and above all, filming with amazing people.
Life after ‘Baywatch’
After Baywatch, Nicole appeared in more productions like TBS’ The Real Gilligan’s Island reality show and Scott Baio Is 45…and Single. She also put her diving prowess to work again on the celebrity diving show Splash in 2013; however, she reportedly sustained injuries during filming.
Despite being down with cancer, Nicole continues to work to cover her health bills and provide for her two kids— Dilyn and Keegan, as she is their primary caretaker. Back in March, Nicole’s daughter joined her as she shaved her head on Instagram with “Fight For Your Right” playing in the background.
