Barbara Eden proved age is just a number as she dressed up and made for a celebrity hotspot in Beverly Hills to catch up with friends over dinner. Even after playing Jeannie in I Dream of Jeannie about six decades ago, Eden looked just as adorable in a pair of white pants and a striped long-sleeved top with blue lines.
She kept her shoulder-length hair in its signature bob and bangs look and accessorized with hoop earrings and a beige Chanel handbag. The screen icon had a good meal at The Grill On The Alley, after which she left in a baby blue Bentley convertible.
As Eden made for the parking lot to catch up with her valet, she was met with cheer from a few starstruck fans who could hardly believe their eyes. True to her nature as one of America’s most endearing and enduring stars, Eden had a brief friendly chat with them and bade them farewell afterwards.
Last year, she revealed how much she loved to interact with fans during the On The Magic Carpet with Barbara Eden show hosted by Rita McKenzie. The mother of one noted that her favorite part of the program was taking over from the moderator to take questions and answers from attendees.
Eden’s outing comes days before her 93rd birthday, and the fan-favorite actress has managed to maintain her elegance ever since her rise to stardom. Even at her age, she does regular physical activities such as walking, weight training and stretching, but does not deny herself a few yummy calories in chocolate and wine.
She also tries to stay makeup-free unless at work or on an outing and never leaves her house without sunscreen. Although she tries to watch her meals, Eden admits to being a “carnivore” who cannot do without some steak, pork and chicken, however, she balances it out with lots of vegetables. Beyond the effort, Eden is glad to have found a career in what she loves best, which is one of the secrets to relaxed living.
