Bruce Willis May Not Remember His Mother Marlene As Dementia Becomes More ‘Aggressive’

Bruce Willis’ struggle with Frontotemporal Dementia has reportedly worsened, as the actor is having a hard time remembering family and friends, including his mother, Marlene Willis. While speaking with Wilfried Gliem of BILD, Marlene expressed her concerns, noting that Bruce’s dementia has become more aggressive.

Regardless of the decline in the quality of his interactions with loved ones, Bruce has so far enjoyed love and support since his diagnosis in 2022. His wife, Emma Hemming Willis, who is his primary caregiver, has been vocal about his progress as an avenue to spread awareness about the rare illness.

Marlene admitted that her son is now slower and can hardly hold a normal conversation anymore. Gliem, who is related to the former actor, revealed that Marlene is especially concerned about the wellbeing of Bruce’s youngest daughters, Evelyn and Mabel since they have to live with him through these changes.

A source also attested to Bruce’s forgetfulness late last year, noting that he cannot recall who his ex-wife, Demi Moore, is. The duo shares three adult children, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah, and they have co-parented cordially for the last two decades. The insider added that Demi experienced this during a vacation in Italy and was shocked at her new reality.
