Rob Lowe took some time out of his weekend to relax with family to celebrate July 4th. The actor had a swell time on his son’s fishing boat named The Bigger Jigger in Santa Barbara, California as he showed off his toned physique and catchy arm tattoos.

Rob wore blue-patterned swimming trunks and accessorized with a necklace as he took several dips in the water and enjoyed the summer sun with his adult kids, Matt and John. Also present were some of Rob’s friends, who joined him to swim in the crystal blue water.

He confessed that cutting out sugar completely was a struggle for him, so he controls how much he consumes instead. He also prioritizes regular movement through interesting activities like hiking, pickleball, paddling, tennis, racing, and the like.

The 60-year-old has been candid about his journey towards a healthier lifestyle, having celebrated 33 years sober last year with yet another topless photo in the ocean. He encouraged his followers to take a cue from him and ditch alcohol, as doing so has helped him enjoy “love, family, God, opportunity, friends, work, dogs and fun” in the last three decades.
