Catherine shows off her figure by the pool
Catherine Zeta-Jones just turned this warm summer into a blistering hot season. 54-year-old Catherine has been showing off her figure in a series of swimsuit selfies shared to her Instagram that has all of her fans wowed.
Catherine is a proud mother of two. But with both her kids, 23-year-old Dylan Michael Douglas and 21-year-old Carys Zeta Douglas, off forging their futures as adults, she’s shared a relatively empty nest with her husband, 79-year-old Michael Douglas. Here’s how she’s enjoying that time this summer!
On Monday, Catherine took to social media to share a moody black-and-white photo with her 5.7 million Instagram followers. The photo shows her toned legs bent and held up, showing off her slim figure as she’s caught midway through a dive into the nearby pool.
An additional picture shows off more of her tiny, stripe-patterned string-strap bikini. In that photo, she’s seen silhouetted against the solid glow coming in from the balcony behind her; she’s posed to show off her figure, with her hands delicately holding a wide-brimmed hat atop her head, hiding most of her signature long dark locks.
“Officially Summer Chez Moi,” she captioned the post, tying it all together with a bright sun emoji. “Chez moi” essentially translates to “at my house.”
In a June 25 Instagram Story, Catherine again shared some swimsuit snaps with her fans. This ensemble of choice was a one-piece rather than a bikini and did no less a job showing off her curves and toned figure. She captioned one picture with “Oops! You caught me posing.”
This suit features an asymmetrical strap layout accentuated by a shining clasp at the shoulder. Her expression is made all the more intense for being hidden behind a large pair of square sunglasses beneath a cream-colored hat.
Bathing suits reign supreme on Catherine’s Instagram page rather than evening dresses, notes PEOPLE, which also mentions how these selfies follow a pattern she had going last year, when Catherine shared a selfie of herself clad in a gray-green bathing suit with a plunging neckline. The look is almost identical, coupled with large shades and a larger hat, which add drama to her subtle makeup for the day.
