‘Incredible Hulk’ Star Lou Ferrigno Sues His Daughter For Elder Abuse Amid Family Drama

Lou Ferrigno’s household had their messy feud publicized last year after he spoke up against his daughter, Shanna Ferrigno, citing elder abuse against his wife, Carla Ferrigno. Carla was diagnosed with dementia at 74, with Shanna allegedly taking advantage of her condition to financially exploit her.

The 43-year-old, who is the oldest of Lou’s three children, attempted to withdraw half a million dollars from Carla’s account, but Lou was notified of the transaction and spoke up against the fraudulent act. More recently, Lou has opted to sue Shanna as a last resort due to further mischief against his acting career.

Before the feud broke out, Shanna had served as Lou’s social media manager for years with access to his Facebook, X, and Instagram accounts; however, she is now weaponizing her access and locking him out of his profile. The star is consequently losing opportunities and income since he promotes his “events, appearances, and moves” via these channels.

The complaints filed in San Luis Obispo County Superior Court by Lou’s lawyer— Vatche Zetjian, states that Shanna has refused to turn in Lou’s login credentials and is demanding hundreds of thousands of dollars to provide them. Vatche, who works at Los Angeles law firm Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell, noted that Shanna had forced Lou to resort to legal action against his wishes.

Amid the messy father-daughter dispute and ensuing legal battle, Shanna blatantly denied holding on to Lou’s social media passwords, noting that she is “really sickened” by the chaos. She took credit for building her father’s online presence for over a decade without pay despite being promised compensation.

Shanna recalled working for Lou as an unpaid publicist nearly full time, specifically “five to six hours a day, on average,” hence her demand for remuneration. Vatche admitted that Shanna was within her rights to demand money for her efforts over the years. However, a better approach would have sufficed. Lou has now taken things a step further by demanding a restraining order and $3,000 in legal fees from her.
