The cover photo on Lisa Marie Presley’s memoir has fans tearing up as it depicts the short-lived bond between Rock ‘n’ Roll king Elvis Presley and his only child. In the picture is Elvis in a blue blazer and shirt holding little Lisa Marie who looked adorable in a red polka dot dress.
The book titled From Here to the Great Unknown is set for release this year, thanks to Lisa Marie’s daughter Riley Keough, who helped complete the story. Riley posted the announcement to Instagram in partnership with PEOPLE, and her followers expressed their anticipation towards getting a copy of the book upon launch.

Fans react to Lisa Marie’s memoir announcement
While looking forward to reading the book by mid-October, Riley’s fans are giving their opinion about the cover photo online, mostly asking why Priscilla was not included. Others rebutted saying Lisa Marie likely wished to focus on the father-daughter bond between herself and Elvis, which explains why it is just them both in the shot.
Many thanked Riley for granting her mother’s wish and commended her display of responsibility since Lisa Marie’s passing. “Thanks for this priceless gift,” a user penned. This reveal comes after the amicable conclusion of the legal battle between Riley and her grandmother Priscilla over Graceland. Priscilla has agreed to Riley’s ownership of the estate, while she continues to manage its affairs via Elvis Presley Enterprises.
