Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter was in Washington D.C. last weekend for the White House correspondents’ dinner to “support journalists working to cover the president, events, and programs to educate the public about the value of the First Amendment and a free press, and scholarships to help the next generation of journalists.”
The 72-year-old wore a halter navy dress with shiny detail in front and complemented the look with a black fuzzy shrug. She also opted for an updo hairstyle and accessorized with matching earrings and bracelets, keeping her neat red-lip makeup minimal too.

Aside from Lynda, other Hollywood stars at the White House included Molly Ringwald, Chris Pine, Rachel Brosnahan, Sophia Bush, Scarlett Johansson and her comedian beau Colin Jost, Keri Rusell, and many more famous faces. Estranged couple Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright also reunited at the star-studded event.

Like many other attendees, Lynda arrived in style, showing off her gorgeous face and body which she never went under the knife for. “I don’t know that I’ve changed too dramatically,” she told PEOPLE weeks ago. “I don’t cut my face, so I probably look just myself, but older…and the reason I’ve never had any facial surgery is just because I’m afraid. It’s scary, because we’ve all seen some bad ones.”
Although Lynda has starred in several other movies, she is mostly recognized for her DC superhero character Wonder Woman. She is also a talented singer, with her recently released single, “Letters From Earth,” dedicated to her late husband Robert Altman. “We had such a wonderful relationship that it’s hard,” she said of growing old alone.
About looking stunning every time she’s out, Lynda credits her glam team which includes “some really good people doing your hair and makeup. Actors and celebrities always look so great when they’re on the red carpet, but when you see them in real life, they just look like a regular person with no makeup and their crummy clothes on. Everybody looks the same when they’re not all dressed up.”
