While announcing her new iHeart radio podcast, MisSpelling, Tori Spelling took to Instagram with a poster of herself without clothes and her followers were not having it. The mother of five, who is turning 51 next month, captioned the photo with a call to action, asking fans to listen in.
Tori crossed her legs to conceal her sensitive upper and lower areas and looked into the camera with her shiny blonde hair down and smokey eye makeup. From her hashtags, including “#misread #misperceived #misunderstood #misjudged,” Tori likely expected a negative reaction to the daring post.
Many users came for Tori from the angle of her identity as a recently divorced mother. “We all know that Once you hit Mom status, you’re a respected elder to younger women, and this behavior is inappropriate,” a fan rebuked. “It’s no wonder children of celebrities grow up with no morals and disrespectful. I mean I couldn’t even imagine my mother posting something like this as a kid or an adult,” another added.
A concerned follower asked Tori to “put some clothes on and stop cashing in on your marriage ending.” Thankfully, amid the backlash, praise also came for the actress, who received compliments for her “honesty” and “realness.” “Thank you for sharing your story. In the debut episode of the MisSpelling podcast, Tori got candid about her personal life, particularly her divorce from actor Dean McDermott after nearly two decades of marriage. “I just filed for divorce. I just said the words that I said like in my head for 16 years,” the 90210 actress said, adding that “it shouldn’t have made 18 years. “It would have been over a lot sooner. However, the road to divorce was pushed back as they had more children,” she admitted.
Some of Tori’s followers commended her strength, and those with relatable stories encouraged her ahead of her next phase. “I went through a divorce with 4 kids and 25 years together.
