Robert De Niro’s Newborn Baby Girl Meets Friend And Co-Star Leonardo DiCaprio In New Photo

Robert De Niro was recently spotted with his girlfriend, Tiffany Chen, as they made for Nobu Malibu after lunch with their baby girl, Gia. Also, De Niro’s Killers of the Flower Moon co-star Leonardo DiCaprio was present at the world-class restaurant.

The celebrity hotspot known for its quality sushi was co-founded by De Niro, celebrity chef Nobuyuki ‘Nobu’ Matsuhisa, and film producer Meir Teper— three of whom have created 39 more outlets and 13 luxury hotels. After a good meal, the eighty-year-old stepped out with Chen, who had their 11-month-old baby’s stuffed possum in hand.

Star-studded lunch date

Aside from De Niro, his girlfriend, and baby Gia, DiCaprio was also present with his family, including his dad, George DiCaprio, step-mother Peggy Ann Farrar, and niece, Normandie Farrar. The 49-year-old was seen leaving the spot.

The Titanic star waved goodbye to his family, with George tipping the valet and making for the road as well, while De Niro, who wore a black bomber jacket, a newsboy cap and glasses, buckled Gia to the car’s back seat and headed home. De Niro and DiCaprio have built a lasting friendship since the latter was a teenager and have starred in old classics like 1993 This Boy’s Life.

De Niro has talked about his relationship with DiCaprio on some occasions, including the 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2022. “I’ve known Leo since he was 15, we did ‘This Boy’s Life.’ That’s a long time, he’s grown up,” he told ET. Speaking of growing up, De Niro turned 80 last August while being a father for the seventh time to Gia, who was about four months old at the time.

During a chat with AARP The Magazine for their recent issue, De Niro gushed about being a newborn’s dad at his age, saying it has been a “wondrous” experience. “It’s great. Everything that I’m consumed with or worried about just goes away when I look at her,” he said, growing teary-eyed as he continued to explain the reality of parenting. “When she gets older— who knows? But that very sweet way she has of looking at you, taking you in, thinking and watching and observing,” he added.
