’80s star Richard Grieco started his Hollywood career as a model before he secured the role of Rick Gardner from 1985 to 1987 in ABC’s soap opera One Life To Live. However, it was his role as Detective Dennis Booker on the TV series 21 Jump Street (1987 to 1991) that made him a fan favorite.
His brilliant delivery in the police procedural TV series added to its success and its spinoff Booker. Richard Grieco is also credited for his notable roles in movies like If Looks Could Kill, Mobsters, A Night at the Roxbury, and more. Recently, the 59-year-old appeared looking different from his ’80s signature look — a clean-shaven face and nicely trimmed dark hair — and this has got his fans talking.
Although fans were surprised at the actor’s recent look, it’s understandable that Grieco’s appearance has changed quite a bit as he was in his early 20s when he was at the peak of his career in the ’80s. In a photo posted to Instagram, Grieco seems to have had a total look transformation as he appeared with a full-grown beard and shoulder-length hair.
Grieco’s post has garnered over 2000 likes and woo comments as fans of the actor took to the comment section to express shock at his new look while others praised him and reminisced about his acting skills. “This doesn’t look like you,” a fan noted. Another user added that the actor is now all grown up now. “That’s Richard Grieco he looks older that’s all take care of yourself brother I use to love that show booker,” they wrote.
“Ohhhh hello handsome. I’m 46. I still see you now and feel like I’m young again,” a fan wrote. “There are people in family that remember I hard of crush I had. Obviously it’s still there. Have a tremendous weekend.”
