Ozzy Osbourne’s Recent Photo Sparks Concern Among Fans

Ozzy Osbourne’s health seemed to have deteriorated drastically as he was recently photographed in a wheelchair on the streets of Los Angeles. The rock star had an assistant move him around, looking frail in a sports coat and brimmed hat.

His wife Sharon, who is currently filming the Celebrity Big Brother reality show, revealed he was “miserable” but “doing okay” earlier this month. “It’s hard for him, but he’s doing okay,” she said. The “Crazy Train” singer suffered a series of accidents in the past that have contributed to his present state, coupled with years of drug and alcohol abuse.

In 2003, Ozzy set out on his quad bike until he crashed, leaving him with a broken neck vertebra, damaged ribs, and collarbone. In 2019, he had a bad fall in his home, which made things much worse. “I carried on working with it until I had a fall, and then it just, everything came undone,” he said at the time.

Added to Ozzy’s list of health challenges is Parkinson’s disease, of which he was diagnosed in 2019. “I don’t gripe, I get on with it. If you are still moving, you ain’t going to be dead,” he told Piers Morgan after his final surgery last year. “The main thing is over now, I’m done with the surgery. But it’s been five years of absolute hell for me and my family.”

As morbid as it sounds, Ozzy is surprised to be alive despite his risky endeavors, including a cocaine duel with Van Halen’s David Lee Roth to see who could do the most without dying. “I’m lucky. There’s nothing special about me. I should have been dead 1,000 times,” he once said. “I’m not being big-headed about that, or invincible. It doesn’t take much to kill you.”

He told Rolling Stone UK in a recent issue that he has “10 years left” at best and feels like he is “on borrowed time.”

“When you’re older, time picks up speed. I do count my lucky stars. I don’t know why I’m still here,” he added, after which he admitted to being pissed off by headlines exaggerating his condition. “They’re saying things like ‘Ozzy is fighting his last battle…He’s sung his last ‘Paranoid.’’ You know, I don’t even think about Parkinson’s that much,” he said.
