Elvis Presley’s Granddaughter Riley Keough Completely Unidentifiable In Upcoming ‘Sasquatch’ Movie

Elvis Presley’s granddaughter, Riley Keough, is slated to appear in the new movie Sasquatch Sunset, which is set for its US cinema release in April. The bizarre film features no conversation among the characters except for grunts and will feature Jesse Eisenberg and Christophe Zajac-Denek alongside Riley.

Riley looked unrecognizable as Bigfoot in the trailer, which is interesting as there have been conspiracy theories about her grandfather faking his death to hunt the creature, as told by another upcoming production named Chronicles of the King: The Search for Sasquatch.

The film’s synopsis reads that “a family of Sasquatches —possibly the last of their enigmatic kind, embark on an absurdist, epic, hilarious, and ultimately poignant journey over the course of one year” in “the misty forests of North America.”

“These shaggy and noble giants fight for survival as they find themselves on a collision course with the ever-changing world around them,” it further reads.

The official statement also promised to bring viewers “the greatest Bigfoot story ever told,” thanks to acclaimed directors David and Nathan Zellner. Sasquatch Sunset was shot in 2022 and premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in Salt Lake City, Utah last month.

Riley’s acting career

The 34-year-old model turned actress made her screen debut with a supporting role as Marie Curie in 2010’s The Runaways. She then featured in more productions like The Good Doctor, Steven Soderbergh’s comedy movie Magic Mike, 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road, and The Girlfriend Experience, which earned her a Golden Globe award nomination for best actress.

More recently, Riley played the lead part as Daisy Jones in Daisy Jones And The Six, earning her another Golden Globe nod and a Primetime Emmy award. She told New York Daily News in an interview that going for show business as a career was entirely her choice, though influenced by her celebrity background. “I didn’t feel like I had no choice, but it was something that was attainable to me,” she said. “As opposed to a lot of people I hear are like ‘Oh, I thought I’d never be an actor.’ It didn’t feel as unattainable, because I was around a lot of it.”
