His 2002 track, “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American),” was a powerful expression of his patriotic spirit in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Beyond incorporating themes of American patriotism into his music, Keith actively supported the U.S. military. He participated in 11 USO tours, performing for American troops stationed abroad. Keith released his final album in 2021, titled Peso in My Pocket. He would then perform his final show in Las Vegas in December. He is survived by his wife, Tricia, three children, and four grandchildren.

Rest in peace, Toby.
