Gwyneth Paltrow recently took to her Instagram page to share photo reels of her family time from their Mexico vacation. The mother-of-two has done a great job raising her wonderful daughter, Apple Martin, whom she welcomed with her ex-husband Chris Martin. The photo carousel featured a portrait picture of Apple enjoying the comfy feel of a rattan peacock chair while getting sun-kissed.
The teenager wore a black gown while she posed for the camera with smiles as she held on to her blonde hair. Also, another slide in the post showed the mother and daughter catching the sunset on the beach. However, fans couldn’t help but notice that Apple Martin bore a striking resemblance to Brigitte Bardot, who is best known for her sex symbol status in the ’50s to ’70s.
“Apple looks like Brigitte Bardot!” a user wrote, while another pointed out that Apple is Bardot’s “twin.” American singer Katty Perry was speechless about how the teenager could pass as Bardot’s double and how she gives the same vibe as the French actress.
A fan also shared the fact that Apple is a blend of both parents, Paltrow and Martin. “Apple has daddy’s eyes for sure, everything else, Mom!” a comment reads. “I can’t believe how old she is – beautiful mom and daughter.” Others expressed their shock to see that Apple is all grown up now, “Wow, I was in college when you were pregnant! I can’t believe she’s a woman! Way to go Gwyneth!”
Over the years, the proud mom has built a strong relationship and connection with Apple, as they’ve been spotted together a lot of times at different red-carpet events. Paltrow also learns to appreciate motherhood and pay tribute to Apple whenever she has the chance.
“Happy Birthday, my angel,” she wrote on Apple’s 19th birthday. “Thank you for sharing your birthday this year with Mother’s Day, a fitting conjugation, a double celebration of you and what you have given to me- the GIFT of being your mom. I love you so deeply and wholly, it defies articulation.”
