Sharon Osbourne Walks Hand-In-Hand With Ozzy In Sweet Photo As She Celebrates His Birthday

Sharon Osbourne recently celebrated her husband Ozzy’s 75th birthday with an Instagram photo of them holding hands backstage and walking away from the camera. “Happy birthday to my soulmate, the love of my life, and best friend. OZZY, I know this next year will be full of laughter, love, and light,” she wrote.

The TV personality and mother of three has previously admitted that a life without Ozzy Osbourne has been unimaginable since they began dating in the late ’70s. “I’ve never loved anyone as much as I’ve loved him, and without that, there’s no hope of keeping a relationship together, is there?” she asked.

Oddballs in love

Now empty nesters with grown children, Ozzy and Sharon plan to enjoy retirement at their Buckinghamshire home in the United Kingdom, which they moved back to after many years in the United States. Some weeks ago, Sharon credited the longevity of their marriage to getting along as “oddballs.”

They have both experienced rough patches, including Ozzy’s cheating scandals and “rock-and-roll” lifestyle; however, true friendship has kept the celebrity duo together. “It’s not been easy, no relationship is easy. You have to work at it. You get your ugly times, your bad times, and your horrific times,” she said. “If you love each other enough, you’ll work through.”

Ozzy’s health at 75

Ozzy has a variety of health challenges, including Parkinson’s disease, which led to his reluctant retirement from touring. “It’s just been heartbreaking for me to see my husband in a position where he’s not self-sufficient, he needs help,” Sharon said. “He was so vibrant, with such a zest for life. But you learn to adapt.”

Unsurprisingly, Ozzy still hopes to perform somehow, saying his singing voice is fine. “If I can ever get back to where I can tour again, fine. But right now, if you said to me, ‘Can you go on the road in a month?’ I couldn’t say yes. I mean, if I could tour, I’d tour,” he told SiriusXM. The “Crazy Train” singer claims he has ten years to live, although he is surprised to be alive, seeing how much he has had to deal with healthwise.
