Gordon Ramsay Welcomes Sixth Child With Wife Tana Ramsay

Celebrity chef, restaurateur, and TV personality Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana are celebrating the arrival of their sixth child together. The newest addition to their family is a baby boy they have named Jesse James Ramsay. Ramsay shared the news in a heartwarming Instagram post.

57-year-old Ramsay and his 49-year-old wife Tana (née Hutcheson) have been married since 1996. There was a time when the couple struggled to conceive due to Tana’s polycystic ovary syndrome, the most common endocrine disorder for women of reproductive age. Now, they are the proud parents of Megan, 25, Matilda, 22, twins Holly and Jack, 23, Oscar, 4, and, most recently, Jesse.

On Instagram, Ramsay shared a joyful surprise over the weekend. “What an amazing birthday present,” he announced, “please welcome Jesse James Ramsay, 7lbs 10oz whopper!! One more bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade!! 3 boys, 3 girls…. Done.” Ramsay celebrated his 57th birthday on November 8.

The accompanying photos show Ramsay, Tana, and baby Jesse in the hospital together. In the first picture, Ramsay is bestowing a loving kiss onto the couple’s newborn son, a tiny bundle under a soft gray blanket. The next pictures show mother and child, with Jesse huddled close against his mom, Tana grinning from ear to ear the whole while.

These kids will have good guidance thanks to mom Tana’s background as a Montessori-trained schoolteacher. So far, their adult children have been invested in carving out their own very unique paths. Holly is a fashion designer and blogger while her twin Jack is a Royal Marines Commander. Megan works with Metropolitan Police, which serves Greater London.

As for Matilda, often nicknamed “Tilly,” her path runs a little more parallel to her father’s, albeit with some surprising twists. She too is a chef and social media personality who serves as the presenter for BBC’s Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch. She has several other television appearances, including The Late Late Show with James Corden, MasterChef Junior, This Morning, Gordon Ramsay’s Home Cooking, and even Strictly Come Dancing, Britain’s version of Dancing with the Stars.
