For the Halloween Special episode of her talk show, Drew Barrymore paid tribute to the late painter Bob Ross for Halloween alongside her sidekick, Ross Matthews, who represented Dolly Parton. They both went all out to showcase several iconic hairstyles for the “Very Hairy Halloween” episode.
Drew left no stone unturned to look like Bob Ross, donning a curly wig, fake beard and mustache, and fake chest hair. She also wore a blue button-down shirt and brown pants to complete the look, while Matthews wore an ‘80s style silver jumpsuit with matching boots and a dramatic curly blonde wig.

After showing off their costumes, Drew pointed out a little problem, “If I’m Dolly Parton and you’re Bob Ross, then who’s hosting the show?” The Pioneer Woman’s Ree Drummond then stepped out as Drew in a brown pantsuit and a top like she wears, saying, “It’s so great to see you both. Welcome to my show…”

Ree’s strawberry blonde hair was nowhere in sight as she wore a long auburn wig, just how Drew prefers it. “I’m Drew ‘Hairymore.’” she said, introducing “herself.” The Food Network host made some jokes and shared a throwback photo of her 26-year-old daughter dressed up as a mummy for Halloween.

Per her daughter’s Halloween costume from many years ago, Ree explained how she improvised with an old sheet to wrap the teen Alex until she asked how she was supposed to use the bathroom. “So what did you do?” Matthews asked, to which the kitchen guru answered, “Well, we’ll cover that at another time, our plans unraveled.”
Ree graced the segment with her cooking skills by making her famous chili and potato nachos. Matthews ended up losing one of his bright red fake nails in a bowl of kidney beans just after a remark about how hard it was cooking in his costume. “Oh my god, Drew! No! My fingernail’s in there!” he panicked. “I have to say, I think we’re nailing this chili,” he joked again moments after.
