Perry played Chandler Bing throughout the 10 Seasons of the hit classic and quickly became a relatable character for the audience. “Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend. You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love,” his family wrote in the statement to People.

In the hilarious scene, Ross shouts “PIVOT!!!” over and over in a bid to direct his friends, but Chandler gets so exasperated that he yells “Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!” back at him. “The only thing funnier than the famously hilarious pivot scene is the blooper take of the famously hilarious pivot scene. Matthew Perry was the best Friend of them all,” the post’s caption read.

FRIENDS, 1994-present, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, episode The One With Frank Jr. aired 10/17/996, ep305

Not long after the 45-second video went up, it received millions of views, likes, and comments from fans who took the chance to pay tribute to the late actor. “I literally watched this less than 30 minutes before learning of his passing. So sad. R.I.P. Matthew, and thanks for all of the laughs,” someone wrote, and another agreed, thanking the poster as well for sharing.

The video, which used to be funny, was now a touching reminder of how happy Perry made those around him. His TV girlfriend, Maggie Wheeler, who played Janice Hosenstein, penned a heartbreaking tribute on Instagram with a photo of them on set. “What a loss. The world will miss you, Matthew Perry. The joy you brought to so many in your too short lifetime will live on,” she wrote. “I feel so very blessed by every creative moment we shared.”
