Recent Tweet Brings Back Memories Of Jerry Seinfeld’s Relationship With 17-Year-Old High School Student

Jerry Seinfeld is well known for his ingenious portrayal of a fictionalized version of himself in the legendary NBC sitcom Seinfeld. The 69-year-old made the headlines in the early ’90s after the news of his romance with a high school girl, Shoshanna Lonstein, surfaced.

Despite the incident happening more than two and half decades ago, the story lives on as it recently resurfaced when a netizen tweeted about it. The tweet has generated a lot of comments because the world has evolved, and the actor’s actions are now considered morally wrong.

“When I was in high school, 38-year-old Jerry Seinfeld was dating a girl in my year, and he picked her up from class during 4th period, and she got to skip Mr. Solinski’s calculus exam (I got a 93/100),” Lonstein classmate replied to the post.

Tweeps took to the comment section to criticize the 69-year-old’s behavior. “It’s really wild how prevalent these kinds of relationships were until SO recently!” someone wrote. “I can’t even remember all the many, many 30+ yo celebrities who were in relationships with teenage girls.”
