Chevy Chase, the patriarch of the Griswold family, and his on-screen wife, Beverly D’Angelo, who played the character Ellen Griswold in the National Lampoon Vacation films, recently thrilled their fans after appearing in a TikTok video alongside Christie Brinkley, who played the role of “the girl in the red Ferrari” in the original Vacation movie.
The video, which has gone viral on TikTok, featured Brinkley briefly in the first scene of the clip as she told Chase over cocktails that she’s “in the mood for some fun.” The final scene also showed the supermodel as she posed with the brains behind the iconic characters, Ellen and Clark Griswold.

Chase tried using his hypnotic skills in the footage on D’Angelo, who lay on a couch with her eyes closed. Satisfied with the effect of the hypnosis, the 71-year-old appreciated her on-screen husband and revealed that he was truly talented.

“Oh, Chevy! That was fantastic. Oh my god, I feel like I just went swimming or something, Thank you,” D’Angelo confessed. “You know, what a lot of people don’t know is that Chevy is a very accomplished hypnotist.”
Beverly D’Angelo says he helped her overcome her stage fright
D’Angelo disclosed that she had initially struggled with stage fright, and upon her first meeting with Chase, he offered to help her overcome the challenge. She agreed, and to her amazement, Chase’s hypnotic skills did solve her problem.
“And the next thing you knew, when I came out, I could memorize my lines like that. Remember?” she reminisced. “I was doing my own stunt work, I was driving a car, he (Chase) would just say, ‘You can do it!’”
