Michael Jackson’s Daughter Paris Blasts Critics For Mocking Underarm Hair

Following Paris Jackson’s posthumous birthday tribute to her dad, Michael Jackson, the 25-year-old recently fired back at trolls who shamed her for leaving her armpit hair untouched. The controversial tribute video featured Paris rocking a loose sleeveless dress that revealed her underarm hair while she raised her arms to adjust her hair.

The post was greeted with unfriendly comments ranging from remarks about her cleanliness to accusations that her motive for making the video was to show her unshaven armpits. “I wasn’t tying my hair up to show off my armpit hair,” Paris explained in the new post. “I’ve not shaved it for years and forget it’s there all the time. Get over yourselves. I was pulling my hair up to show my glass-cutting jawline.”

Paris enjoys her fans’ support

Paris’s latest post on the platform X (formerly Twitter) has sparked a remarkable influx of comments, with her devoted fanbase giving her the full support she needs. “You’re fine just the way you are! Keep doing you!” One of her followers wrote. “Dad will be proud.”

“Those who judge armpit hair are really silly,” someone wrote. “Armpit hair is there for a reason we all have it.. why is it such a “gross” thing to some? Can’t handle natural hm? Anyways you do you girl, I am proud of you!”

“I love you, Paris. You are one of the funniest, honest, & clever people. Keep being true to yourself, just like your dad was. Stay YOU,” a fan added.

Paris has constantly been subjected to online criticism

This is not Paris’s first time experiencing cyberbullying, and it seems her fans are also aware of that. “If it’s not one thing, it’s another you didn’t need to explain yourself, to begin with, but people just love to assume and talk about things that don’t even concern them,” a concerned fan wrote under the comment section of her latest post.

Also, the actress hinted about being unfairly criticized for her stance and actions in her tribute video to her dad. “There have been times where I don’t post anything for my dad’s birthday, and people lose their f****** minds'” she shared. “They tell me to kill myself. And they’re basically measuring my love for my own father based on what I post on Instagram.”

Paris advised naysayers and set the record straight concerning her dad’s opinion of celebrating his birthdays. “If you are an MJ superfan and you want to do something that he would have loved – which is not celebrate his birthday – my suggestion would be there’s always ways to get involved with raising awareness for climate change; doing stuff for the environment; animal rights activism – these were things he loved and was very, very interested in,” she concluded.
