Hollywood celebrity couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones joyfully marked their oldest son, Dylan’s 23rd birthday on August 8. Catherine and Michael took to Instagram to share heartfelt messages for their son’s birthday.

“Happy birthday Dylan! May YOUR new year bring you joy, imagination, and love!” Douglas wrote in the caption. “Your biggest fan, Dad.” The proud mother also posted a throwback photo of herself cradling baby Dylan when he was a newborn. “23 years ago today, my boy @dylan__douglas was born,” Zeta-Jones wrote. “He is the gift that keeps on giving, over and over and over and over again. I love you, my love♥️”

Michael and Catherine have been married for over two decades

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones first crossed paths in August 1998, following an introduction by actor Danny DeVito. Their engagement took place on December 31, 1999, and they exchanged vows at the Plaza Hotel in New York City on November 18, 2000, following the completion of Douglas’s divorce from Diandra Luker.

Michael and Catherine remain committed to each other and are still ensuring that their relationship works perfectly. In an interview with US Weekly, Michael revealed that effective communication is the secret behind their long-lasting union. “It’s taken me a long time, but resentment is an easy thing to keep under the surface,” he told the outlet. “I think most of the times it’s really good to get things out sooner than later.”
