‘Home Improvement’ Star Zachery Ty Bryan Tried To Call Tim Allen Before Recent Arrest

Zachery Ty Bryan, who has lived a highly controversial life marred by crime, has found himself back in an Oregon jail for alleged domestic violence. The actor, who is popular for his role in ABC’s Home Improvement, was taken into custody recently and charged with fourth-degree felony assault, third-degree robbery, and harassment. This marks his second domestic violence charge after his initial arrest in October 2020 for fourth-degree assault and strangulation.

In June 2023, the actor was accused of defrauding investors of $5,000 to $25,000 by selling fake stakes in a fictitious technology startup. Following his recent arrest, a close source revealed that Bryan is annoyed with his Home Improvement on-screen dad, Tim Allen, who commented about his brushes with the law, most especially the fraud allegations.

In a previous interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Allen aired his opinion about the fraud allegations that were made against Bryan. The 70-year-old stated that he knew the actor as a good person, but he seemed to have taken to a path of crime now.

“I don’t know what’s going on with him,” Allen admitted. “At a certain point, he deviated from the guy I know to somebody who is reaching to situations that I had nothing to do with and can’t control. I don’t know what happens when people get corrupted. You just don’t know.”

Bryan previously took a stand to defend himself, asserting that he wasn’t involved in any suspicious or shady business arrangement contrary to the general belief. Also, regarding his arrest for domestic violence after his divorce from ex-wife Carly Matros, the actor maintained that Oregon police authorities excessively exaggerated the narrative.

However, sources close to Bryan revealed he was highly angry with Allen’s remarks. “Zachery says he’s tried to reach out to Tim over the years,” an Insider confessed. “He wants to tell Tim to keep his big trap shut.”
