51-Year-Old Says Strangers Stop Her In The Street Because Of Her Flawless Skin—Here’s Her Top Tips

As we age, changes happen inside and outside our bodies — one of the most prominent alterations occurs within the skin, where wrinkles, crow’s feet, and sagging skin begin to creep in slowly. However, 51-year-old Nina Takesh, the founder, CEO and creative force behind no less than three businesses, defied the usual expectations and shared her skincare secrets via social media.

Nina, an interior designer, has such smooth skin at her age that strangers often stop her on the street and commend her flawless skin. Her followers on TikTok also compliment her good looks. “Wow, your skin is beautiful! You are so blessed to look that young in your 50s,” a user responded to one of her posts.

Nina started skincare when she was young

In a TikTok video, Nina graciously shared her beauty routines, noting that there should be “no gatekeeping” on such matters. “I get more questions about my skin than any other part of my body,” she said. “I get literally stopped at department stores and in the streets as people ask me about my skin.”

Caring for her skin has been important to Nina since she was young. She credits her lack of wrinkles to doing skincare since her youth.

“I’m no spring chicken, people, and I do not have any wrinkles because I have been taking care of my skin forever, since I was very very young,” Nina added.

Nina’s nighttime routine

Nina’s nighttime routine is easy and quick. She starts cleansing the face with her Tonique Confort cleanser from Lancôme, although she says any cleanser will do. “I kid you not, this is my process, this takes about three minutes. I’m very quick because I know what I am doing,” she said. “Next is to apply a pigment gel, specifically the HQ Free Pigment Gel, by PCA skin.”

She then uses vitamin C from SkinCeuticals, which is excellent for dry skin. “This is the only one that I recommend that you use,” she said, showing the serum. Nina then goes in with her Resurfacing Retinol Serum by Cerave, retinol being an essential ingredient for anti-aging. Hyaluronic acid also helps to stretch the skin and reduce lines and wrinkles. Nina uses her Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid after applying retinol.

Nina tested various products on her skin

Nina rounded off her nighttime skincare routine with three more products — an adapalene gel by Effaclar, a retinoid serum by Sunday Riley, and a vital booster by Goldfadenmd, her favorite product. “I then add the adapalene. I don’t have acne, this is made for acne, but adapalene is known to do wonders on spots, sun spots, and all kinds of bad aging so it is very important,” she said.

One might think Nina’s products are a lot to keep up with, but she explained that trying out and discovering beauty products that work is the secret to silky smooth skin. “There’s a reason I use all of these products. I have gone through a lot of testing on my skin, back and forth, until I found the perfect combination, even though it seems plentiful.”
