Pop legend Madonna was recently rushed to the hospital due to a bacterial infection and had to reschedule her tour dates. Following the incident, news making rounds suggests that the singer is getting better; however, her children have raised the alarm about their mother’s health, indicating otherwise. The 64-year-old is reported to be “one step away from disaster,” and her children reveal that she “punishes herself” and is being reckless with surgery.
Madonna is a mother to six kids– her eldest, Lourdes, Rocco, David, Mercy, and her 10-year-old twins, Stella and Estere. Reports say the kids are concerned for their mother, who behaves like she is “in her twenties” and has refused to see a doctor before her ICU admission. They are staging an intervention to help their mother slow down and get better.
Madonna’s kids urge her to ‘change things’
Prior to her emergency admission, Madonna suffered a “low-grade fever for a month,” according to her kids, who are trying to “talk some sense” into their mother. “Lourdes and Rocco have said for years that Madonna is one step away from disaster with the way she punishes herself, going overboard with the surgery and generally trying to act like she’s still in her twenties,” a source revealed.

The source added that her kids mean business and will make sure things change with their mother’s health. “It’s a serious intervention, and they’re determined to see it through. The kids all agree that they need to talk some sense into their mum and let her know this is a major wakeup call,” they added.
Updates on Madonna’s ‘Celebration’ world tour
After she was rushed to the ICU in late June, Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, assured fans that her health was improving and that the Celebration world tour dates would be altered. “A full recovery is expected. At this time, we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows,” he announced.
Also, Madonna recently took to Instagram to give updates on the tour and thanked her well-wishers for their “positive energy, prayers and words of healing and encouragement.” “My focus now is my health and getting stronger, and I assure you I’ll be back with you as soon as I can!” she wrote.
The singer also shared that the “current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe. “I couldn’t be more grateful for your care and support. Love, M,” she concluded.
