Mary is the only surviving sibling of Rod Stewart
Stewart is the youngest of five siblings. In 1975, Stewart lost his older sister Peggy to multiple sclerosis as she tragically passed away at 40. Also, in 2022, the singer shared the news of his brother Bob’s passing at 88 years old, barely two months after their eldest brother Don’s death, who had reached 94, thus leaving Mary as the only surviving sibling.
“It’s with great sadness that I announce the loss of my brother Bob last night, who joins my brother Don on the great football pitch in the sky,” Stewart wrote in the caption of a November 2022 Instagram post. “I’ve lost two of my best mates in the space of two months. RIP Don and Bob.”
