It is hard to believe that Christie Brinkley is now 69. She showed off her fit body in a new photo for Valentine’s Day, wearing a red swimsuit at the beach. Christie holds her hands in a heart shape while also wearing a cowboy hat.
She captioned the photos, which also include a video of “Happy Valentine’s Day!” with a heart written in the sand, “Hope everyone is feeling the LOVE‼️” In her most recent photos, Christie appears to be celebrating her birthday month at her home in Turks & Caicos, named Lucky House. For her birthday on Feb. 2, Christie shared a collage of many of her famous magazine covers. She opened up about how she was always given covers with her age plastered next to her photos.
She wrote, in part, “My days were NUMBERED! Literally! Christie at 40, 45, 50 55,60…I present the evidence here with these smattering of covers all proclaiming my age! Lol! Even I got into the numbers act myself when I put my age on the cover of my book “Timeless Beauty”. I was 61 and I wrote that book because I believe we have more control over those numbers than they have over us!”
She added, “Those days of hiding our age are over! Im 69 and I feel GRATEFUL! I’ve learned that gratitude, health and love are the keys to happiness! I have survived a lot, and what didn’t kill me, did indeed make me stronger, wiser, and I truly look at each day as a gift to celebrate! I love my life! I love my job. I’m always looking for products or projects that will make people happy! And that in turn makes me happy! It’s a Win win! ! And I love my family, my close circle of friends, and my wide circle of friends that includes all of you beautiful souls right here on my Instagram . So go ahead proclaim your age celebrate the years ! Make those numbers your bitch! You got this! We got this! 👍🏼😘❤️”
