Luke Bryan Keeps On Jamming After Alarming Fall On Stage

With over 75 million records sold, Luke Bryan isn’t one of the best-selling country music artists for nothing. But his commitment is reflected in ways beyond the numbers, and nothing displays that quite like his latest concert performance – not because things went perfectly, but because they didn’t, yet he kept the performance rolling.

Fans of his independent work and his time as an American Idol judge got to see Bryan perform in Raleigh, North Carolina as part of his Raised Up Right tour. Everything was business as usual until Bryan suddenly fell while performing on stage. Fortunately, fans didn’t have to worry for long.

Everything about the Raleigh concert seemed routine, from Bryan’s rugged attire to the excited audience participation, joining him in singing “That’s My Kind Of Night.” Bryan himself was incorporating some dance moves into his performance until he suddenly slipped and fell sideways. The moment was captured on video by a fan and shows the fall Bryan took, landing apparently on his back.

But there’s a reason the fan captioned the video, “@lukebryan your dance moves must go on even with a tumble.” While he was still on the floor, Bryan actually kept the performance going, moving his hips, showing off the latest move, and kicking his legs. This has left fans worried, amused, and everything in between.

The show will go on

One fan theorized that alcohol might have been involved when Bryan took that fall. But one eagle-eyed viewer noted that it had been raining that day, leaving the concert venue still wet; indeed, there are shiny spots on the floor near where he slipped, and when two people go to help Bryan, one wipes at the floor with a rag. In recent weeks, health scares had been the cause of a performer leaving the stage, so fans were concerned for Bryan but glad he was ultimately safe.

OMG…WOW…what happened? Looked like there was something water on the stage? Hope your okay,” one concerned fan posted under the video. Another praised Bryan, writing, “Love this… doesn’t take himself too seriously & didn’t miss a beat. Always been one of my favorites!” That fan has a lot to look forward to, then, because the Raised Up Right tour is continuing all through July, August, September, and October.
