Fans Of ‘The View’ Call Out Show For Playing Favoritism With Its Hosts

The View came under a lot of fire when viewers and lovers of the show discovered annoying information in the new picture of the show hosts. According to the picture, Whoopi Goldberg took the front and centerpieces despite the plea from fans that she be fired as host due to a lot of errors she had made live on the show.

A couple of photographs of the co-host’s vacation in the Bahamas were posted by The View. The one-week-long trip was to mark the show’s 25^th season anniversary. The show decided to round off the week and detail their time in the Bahamas with pictures that were posted on Instagram.

The Post That Infuriated The Fans

The post was captioned, “WHAT A WEEK! We want to thank our guests and our sponsor @BahaMarResorts for making last week in the Bahamas incredibly special for all of us at #TheView to celebrate 25 years of our show! We also want to recognize how thrilled we are to have YOU as our fans! And shout out to our behind-the-scenes #ViewCrew in the Bahamas and New York for making it all happen!”

The fans’ outrage was sparked by the first picture posted, which reflected something about how the hosts were arranged. The pictures showed the co-hosts speaking with guests, sitting around the table in their fun time, and engaging in many activities. Whoopi Goldberg is seen taking the center of the picture in front of the other hosts. This has gotten fans thinking that the show producers are making her more visible than the others, even though the fans don’t actually feel good about the host.

Reactions From  Fans As Regards The Hosts Photograph

One of the fans, who is a Reddit user shared the show’s post, and other fans were very fast to detect the detail. One of the fans commented, “I feel like they are playing favorites by putting the famous ones in the front. And ugh I hate Whoopi. Can we please fire her and NOT put her in the front?”

Another fan reacted, saying, “She is so ill-prepared. Producers, get Whoopi to actually be deserving of being a moderator of this show. She just seems so lazy. She never knows how to say guests’ names, nor does she understand the hot topics well enough.”

Other comments from fans have accused The View of playing favorites by showcasing Whoopi Goldberg in the middle of the pictures. A fan took to Instagram shading Whoopi by posting, “Team Joy, Sunny, Sara and Anna,” deliberately omitting Whoopi Goldberg’s name.

Clamour For Goldberg’s Replacement

Fans of the show are literally clamoring and pleading that Anna Navaro replaces Whoopi Goldberg as the permanent host of the show rather than her periodic visits. A fan asked via his page on Reddit, inquiring, “When is Ana Navarro on? I am visiting NYC and trying to attend the show.”

“Is Ana regularly scheduled to come on just on Fridays?” Four other users supported the question, and another user took the time to answer the question with the reply, “Yes, every Friday. She sometimes makes appearances on Thursday too.”

It seems as though the wish of the fans might be granted very soon as the show is rumored to be introducing a new host probably by August after lots of guest appearances turned tryouts which had been on for months.
