Alan Alda recently shared a M*A*S*H throwback and also shared a message for fans concerning the coronavirus pandemic. He shared an old picture of some of the M*A*S*H cast all wearing masks with the caption “How to save a life without doing surgery. Wear a nice snug mask.”
Alda is obviously pushing the importance of wearing a mask during the pandemic as it has become one of the most important methods of combating COVID-19 globally. This also isn’t the first time he has spoken out about COVID-19 and how to protect yourself and others.
Just a few weeks ago, he shared a promotional video message to his Instagram account encouraging people to get the COVID-19 vaccine if they can. “What if we take a selfie when we get vaccinated and post it on social media,” he writes in the caption. “We all need to hear from people we trust that they are with the program. Let’s post our positivity. Don’t just take a selfie — take a vaxxie!”
