Today American film and television actor Abraham Charles “Abe” Vigoda has passed away at the age of 94. He was only a month shy of his 95th birthday (Feb.24).
]Vigoda was best know as over-the-hill detective Phil Fish in the 1970s TV series “Barney Miller” and the doomed Mafia soldier in “The Godfather,” According to his daughter, Carol Vigoda Fuchs, Vigoda died Tuesday morning in his sleep at Fuchs’ home in Woodland Park, New Jersey. The cause of death was old age.
