Guess What this Rare Device Used to Be Used for?

It’s An Antique Gas Hair Curling Iron Holder with Curling Iron!

This is unique antique curling iron heater. Made from metal it would attach to the gas unit on a stove and the inside has a pipe where the flames would come out.
The metal curling would lay on this heated pipe and when hot the owner would make waves or curls in their hair.
