It has been reported that Donny Osmond’s youngest son, Josh, has just become engaged! The 62-year-old proud father announced the news on social media. “Our youngest son, Josh, and his darling girlfriend Summer got engaged last night!” Osmond writes. “We are beyond thrilled that Summer will be joining our family! It was a picture-perfect Valentine‘s Day, and an incredible kickoff to Josh‘s birthday weekend.”
“Happy birthday and congratulations, Josh! Mom and I are so happy for you,” he wraps up the congratulatory post. “More pictures to come after the wedding. I’ll let them announce that one.” So sweet!
As a result and as expected, fans were flooding the Instagram post with positive comments. “Awwww there goes the youngest on his new path of life, how exciting, congrats!” one person says. Another writes, “Congrats to the newly engaged couple.” Osmond shares four more sons with his wife Debbie- Donald Jr., 40; Jeremy, 38; Brandon, 35, and Christopher, 29.

The youngest Osmond has had quite a crazy couple of months! He recently returned home in December 2019 from a two-year mission trip to Italy. “After two years of valiantly serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Italy, our son Josh will return home with us for a reunion with the entire family. What a birthday! What a Christmas!” Donny captions a photo of the family reunion.
As most parents would be, Donny and Debbie were pretty bummed that they would not be able to see their youngest for a long time. “It’s pretty emotional for Debbie and me because, as we’ve experienced with our other sons, we send our boy into the world, but that boy never returns. A man comes home,” Donny says just before Josh took off to Rome for his trip.
We bet that Debbie and Donny are so excited to have their youngest back home! Congratulations to the newly engaged couple, may all blessings and happiness come their way.
