Mariska Hargitay is heading into one of television’s biggest nights, the Emmys, with two new trophies already in hand. Days before hosting the Primetime Emmys on Sept. 14, the longtime Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star celebrated a major career milestone at the Creative Arts Emmys. According to Hollywood Reporter, the Mariska Hargitay Emmys moment felt especially meaningful because the victories came from a deeply personal project.
