For ten seasons, JAG meant crisp dress whites, roaring fighter jets and a courtroom where every case had a twist. The show premiered on NBC on September 23, 1995. The network let it go after one season, but CBS picked it up as a midseason replacement in January 1997. That second chance turned into 227 episodes and a run that lasted until April 2005. Creator Donald P. Bellisario mixed military law with mystery and a slow-burn romance that viewers followed for years.
