Guns N' Roses lead guitarist Slash recently took to social media to announce the shocking death of his stepdaughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight. She was just 25 years old, and as of July 23, no cause of death has been ascertained. Slash's announcement post did reveal that she passed away "peacefully" on July 19. Knight was the daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight. Slash had dated Hodges back in the 1980s but split for several decades. According to USA Today, the two reconnected and rekindled their relationship in 2015. Slash, whose legal name is Saul Hudson, also has a stepdaughter, Scarlet Rae Knight, from his relationship with Hodges. He has since canceled several tour dates following Knight's death. Slash's statement says "The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss." Hodges shared an identical post on her own Instagram, with her post also bearing no caption but only the image and explanation.
